Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) is projected to overtake Hyundai Motor India to secure the second position in the Indian automotive market by the end of 2025, according to industry projections. This shift would mark Hyundai's first time falling from second place since 2019, potentially landing them in fourth. Tata Motors is expected to hold the third spot. M&M's rise is attributed to recent model launches, particularly in the SUV segment, as overall Indian car sales are anticipated to reach 4.6 million units in 2025.
