Bengaluru Opens ITPB Metro Skywalk Linking Purple Line to Tech Park and Mall

Bengaluru inaugurated the ITPB Metro Skywalk, a 320-foot elevated pedestrian corridor connecting Pattandur Agrahara metro station on the Purple Line to International Tech Park Bangalore (ITPB) and Park Square Mall. The skywalk aims to improve last-mile connectivity, pedestrian safety, and traffic flow, benefiting over 55,000 professionals, residents, and shoppers. It features accessibility measures like ramps and elevators and reflects public-private collaboration. Separately, a Yellow Line train reportedly derailed at Hebbagodi depot, with no official statement yet from BMRCL.
