
The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) is developing an AI-powered tool to assess the cyber safety preparedness of regulated entities. SEBI Chairman Tuhin Kanta Pandey stated the tool will analyze cyber audit reports, identify control gaps, and classify risks. Additionally, a working group is being formed to create a 5-10 year technology roadmap for market infrastructure institutions. Pandey emphasized the need for innovation to strengthen market integrity and investor protection while anticipating emerging risks.
