
Jharkhand's economy is projected to grow by 5.96% in the 2026-27 fiscal year, slightly lower than the estimated 6.17% growth in 2025-26, according to the state economic survey presented by Finance Minister Radhakrishna Kishore. The state's real Gross State Domestic Product (GSDP) is expected to reach Rs 3.41 lakh crore in 2026-27. Per capita income at current prices surpassed Rs 1 lakh in 2024-25 and is projected to rise to Rs 1.35 lakh by 2026-27, reflecting continued economic expansion above the national average.
