Karnataka Secures Rs 1.53 Lakh Crore in New Investment Proposals Post-GIM

Karnataka has attracted new industrial investment proposals worth Rs 1.53 lakh crore in the 11 months following the Global Investors' Meet (GIM) held in February last year, according to Minister M B Patil. These investments, additional to GIM commitments, span sectors including manufacturing, renewable energy, data centres, and Global Capability Centres. Key proposals include Toyota Industries Engine's Rs 1,330 crore investment in hybrid engine manufacturing and QpiAI India's Rs 1,136 crore Quantum Centre of Excellence. The state plans expedited approval processes for these projects.
