The Leela Palaces Acquires Ultra-Luxury Resort in Coorg to Expand Wellness Portfolio

The Leela Palaces, Hotels and Resorts has acquired an ultra-luxury 71-villa resort in Coorg, Karnataka, for approximately Rs 560 crore, marking its entry into nature-led and wellness-focused hospitality. Set on 76 acres near Madikeri amidst coffee and spice plantations, the property will be launched as The Leela Coorg Forest Sanctuary later this year. This acquisition expands The Leela's portfolio to 15 properties, strengthening its presence in South India and aligning with its strategy to offer immersive, culturally and ecologically valuable luxury experiences.
