Deepak Gupta Appointed Chairman and Managing Director of GAIL India Limited

Deepak Gupta has assumed charge as chairman and managing director of GAIL (India) Limited, India's largest gas transmission and marketing company, succeeding Sandeep Kumar Gupta. A mechanical engineer from Delhi College of Engineering, he brings over 32 years of experience in the energy sector, including leadership roles at GAIL and Engineers India Limited. Gupta has overseen key projects like the Dabhol breakwater for Konkan LNG and led digital transformation initiatives. His tenure is set until February 28, 2029.
