India and Australia are celebrating the third anniversary of their Economic Cooperation and Trade Agreement (ECTA), which has reportedly boosted Indian exports to Australia by 8% in FY 2024-25. Union Minister Piyush Goyal highlighted sustained export growth, deeper market access, and improved supply chains benefiting various sectors, including manufacturing, gems and jewellery, and agriculture. A significant development is Australia's commitment to eliminate tariffs on 100% of Indian tariff lines from January 1, 2026, aiming to further enhance bilateral trade.
