The Indian government has launched a ₹4,531 crore Market Access Support (MAS) scheme, part of a larger ₹25,060 crore Export Promotion Mission, aimed at boosting global reach for exporters, particularly MSMEs and first-time sellers. The six-year initiative will provide financial and institutional support for activities like international trade fairs, buyer-seller meets, and trade delegations. It prioritizes new markets and smaller geographies, with a mandate for at least 35% MSME participation in supported events. The scheme also aims to clear outstanding dues from a previous initiative.
