Indian Hotels Company Ltd (IHCL), a Tata Group company, has opened the 45-key Taj Paro Resort Spa in Bhutan, expanding its hospitality presence in the country. This new property is an extension of IHCL's partnership with CG Hospitality Global. Both companies expressed optimism that the resort will enhance Bhutan's appeal as a global tourism destination. IHCL currently manages 392 hotels worldwide, with 143 more under development.
