Waaree Energies Starts Work on 10 GW Solar Ingot and Wafer Facility in Nagpur

Waaree Energies has begun construction of India's largest integrated solar ingot and wafer manufacturing facility in Butibori, Nagpur, with a planned capacity of 10 GW each for solar ingots and wafers. The Rs 6,200 crore, 300-acre project aims to boost domestic solar manufacturing, reduce reliance on imports, and enhance supply chain stability. Expected to create over 8,000 jobs, it supports Maharashtra's industrial growth and India's goal of energy security through self-reliant clean energy production.
