A four-member Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) committee has submitted its confidential report to the Ministry of Civil Aviation regarding the massive IndiGo flight disruptions in early December. The panel, led by Joint Director General Sanjay K Bramhane, investigated issues including crew planning, regulatory compliance, and the implementation of new pilot rest norms. The report's findings, which are not public, will inform potential government actions such as penalties or stricter oversight for the airline. IndiGo had cancelled thousands of flights, impacting numerous passengers.
