
Maruti Suzuki India Limited will invest Rs 35,000 crore to establish a new manufacturing plant on 1,750 acres in Khoraj, Gujarat, with an annual production capacity of one million vehicles. The facility, expected to begin production by 2029, aims to boost employment by over 12,000 jobs and support ancillary industries. This expansion aligns with Maruti Suzuki's goal to increase its total production capacity to four million units by 2030-31, reinforcing Gujarat's position as a key automobile manufacturing hub.
