IndiGo will commence direct daily flight services between Tamil Nadu's Chennai and Coimbatore and the new Navi Mumbai International Airport (NMI) starting December 29. These flights, utilizing Airbus A320 aircraft, will operate during NMI's initial phase of 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. operations. This expansion aims to provide passengers with more choices, especially given the operational challenges at Mumbai's existing airport, and IndiGo will be the first airline to offer direct flights from Tamil Nadu to NMI.
