BYD India is increasing the price of its Sealion 7 Premium electric SUV variant by Rs 50,000, effective January 1, 2026. The Premium variant will now cost Rs 49.4 lakh, while the Performance variant remains unchanged at Rs 54.9 lakh. BYD cites evolving cost dynamics and sustained investments in technology and safety for the adjustment. The company noted that over 2,300 units of the Sealion 7 have been sold since its launch, indicating growing demand for premium electric SUVs in India.
