The United States has intensified its blockade on Venezuelan oil, sanctioning four Chinese companies and four vessels involved in its trade. This action has led several oil ships to divert from Venezuela, causing its storage tanks to fill and forcing production cuts in the Orinoco basin. The US also struck a facility allegedly used for narcotics trafficking within Venezuela.
