SBI Recruits 5,783 Junior Associates, Surpasses 18,000 Hires in Fiscal Year 2026

State Bank of India (SBI) has recruited 5,783 junior associates across states and Union Territories to enhance customer service and branch operations. This recruitment is part of SBI's broader hiring drive, adding over 18,000 employees across various roles in the current fiscal year. The selection process involved 9,00,771 applicants, with preliminary and main examinations held in September and November 2025 respectively. SBI aims to strengthen its frontline workforce to support its goal of doubling business in the next five to six years.
