CloudSEK Raises $10 Million from Connecticut Innovations, First Indian Cybersecurity Firm Funded by US State

Bengaluru-based cybersecurity firm CloudSEK has raised USD 10 million from Connecticut Innovations, the venture capital arm of the US state of Connecticut, marking the first investment by a US state-backed fund in an Indian-origin cybersecurity company. This funding completes CloudSEK's Series B round, bringing total capital raised to about USD 39 million at a valuation near USD 200 million. The company plans to use the funds to expand its US presence, increase its team from five to around 20 employees, and grow its US client base from 20 to 200 within a year.
