
IHG Hotels & Resorts plans to expand its presence in India to over 400 operational and in-development properties within five years, more than tripling its current portfolio of over 50 hotels and 80 under development. The company aims to diversify beyond its core Holiday Inn brand by introducing new global brands, including the Vignette Collection in early 2026. CEO Elie Maalouf highlighted India's growth potential amid strong domestic demand and favorable demographics, positioning it as a key market alongside China and the Middle East.
