Aequs Invests in Drone JV and Aero Engine Facility to Expand Defence Manufacturing

Aequs Limited is expanding its role in India's defence sector by investing ₹10.01 crore in Ajna Aerospace, a joint venture focused on manufacturing and selling unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). The company also plans a ₹1,900 crore facility to produce aero engine components, aiming to develop India's first fully vertically integrated aero engine ecosystem. Aequs seeks to transition from component manufacturing to system-level defence and aerospace product development, leveraging global technology partnerships and proprietary innovations.
