Rating agency Icra has significantly lowered its growth forecast for India's domestic air passenger traffic to 0-3% for the current fiscal year, down from an earlier projection of 4-6%. This revision is attributed to multiple flight disruptions, safety concerns following an air tragedy, and a downturn in business travel influenced by global economic pressures. The agency also reduced its international passenger traffic growth forecast for Indian carriers to 7-9% from 13-15%.
