Axis AMC Appoints R Sivakumar as Chief Investment Officer, Ashish Gupta Steps Down

Axis Asset Management Company has appointed R Sivakumar as its new Chief Investment Officer (CIO), effective immediately, following Ashish Gupta's decision to step down for personal and professional reasons. Sivakumar, associated with Axis AMC since 2009, will lead investment strategy, new fund development, and oversee investment teams. He has held various leadership roles, including head of fixed income and product strategy. The fund house manages assets worth over Rs 3.75 lakh crore as of February 2026.
