Axis AMC Appoints R Sivakumar as Chief Investment Officer, Succeeds Ashish Gupta

Axis Asset Management Company has appointed R Sivakumar as its new Chief Investment Officer (CIO), effective immediately, following Ashish Gupta's decision to step down for personal and professional reasons. Sivakumar, a founding member of Axis AMC since 2009, brings over 25 years of experience and has held leadership roles in fixed income, product strategy, and corporate strategy. He will lead the fund house's investment strategy, research processes, and teams, supporting its long-term growth. The fund manages assets exceeding Rs 3.75 lakh crore as of February 2026.
