
Women professionals are playing significant roles in the development and operational planning of the upcoming Noida International Airport, which recently received its aerodrome licence from the Directorate General of Civil Aviation. The greenfield airport, spanning over 1,300 hectares with a single runway and terminal, is expected to start passenger services within one to two months. Women contribute across leadership, technical, safety, and operational functions, including senior positions such as Chief Operating Officer Kiran Jain, reflecting a focus on gender diversity in the project’s workforce.
