DSM Fresh Foods, operating as Zappfresh, has acquired a 51% controlling stake in Avyom Foodtech for approximately Rs 7.5 crore. This strategic acquisition aims to expand DSM Fresh Foods into the ready food solutions segment and overseas export markets. The deal includes Avyom Foodtech's processing facility and land, with DSM Fresh Foods assuming associated liabilities. This move is expected to accelerate DSM's market entry and growth objectives.
