An Air India Boeing 787-9 flight AI 2380 bound for Singapore returned to Delhi early on January 14 due to a suspected technical issue shortly after takeoff. Sources reported an Auxiliary Power Unit (APU) fire warning prompted the precautionary return after about an hour airborne. The aircraft landed safely, and around 190 passengers were transferred to an alternative plane that continued to Singapore. Air India expressed regret for the inconvenience and confirmed passenger safety remained a priority.
