NMDC Raises Iron Ore Prices Effective March 2026, Shares Respond Positively

NMDC announced a price increase for its Baila Lump iron ore to Rs 4,800 per ton and Baila Fines to Rs 4,050 per ton, effective from March 6, 2026. These prices exclude various taxes and fees. Following the hike, NMDC's shares rose to Rs 81.71. The company reported a 7.9% decline in consolidated net profit to Rs 1,747.01 crore in Q3 FY26, despite a 15.9% revenue increase compared to the previous year.
