India's first bullet train corridor, connecting Mumbai and Ahmedabad, achieved a significant milestone with the breakthrough of Mountain Tunnel-5 in Palghar, Maharashtra. Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw announced the completion of this first and longest mountain tunnel among seven planned in the state.
