Sadanand Date Appointed SEBI Executive Director, Portfolios Reshuffled

Sadanand S Date, a 2007-batch IPS officer from Uttarakhand cadre, assumed charge as Executive Director at SEBI on March 4, heading the Investigation Department. A medical graduate with multiple advanced degrees, including LLM and a Certified Fraud Examiner certification, Date has extensive experience in the CBI and Uttarakhand Police. SEBI also reshuffled other executive directors' portfolios, with Ali Asgar Mithwani taking over Human Resources and G Rammohan Rao moving to Market Intermediaries Regulation and Supervision.
