
The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) confirmed that IndiGo has processed refunds for all flight cancellations between December 3 and 5, 2025, crediting amounts back to original payment sources. Passengers affected by cancellations within 24 hours or delays over three hours are eligible for compensation under DGCA regulations. IndiGo has also introduced a 'Gesture of Care' offering two travel vouchers worth Rs 5,000 each, valid for 12 months. Despite these measures, some passengers report delays in receiving refunds and express concerns over reliance on vouchers instead of direct compensation.
