Noida International Airport at Jewar, Uttar Pradesh, a major infrastructure project, is nearing completion and expected to open in January. Originally planned for September 2024, the deadline was missed. The airport, built under a public-private partnership, will be Uttar Pradesh's fifth international airport and is planned to be India's largest. Its first phase will feature one runway, handling 1.2 crore passengers annually, with future expansion plans for five runways and a capacity of 30 crore passengers.
