Tata Power Renewable Energy (TPREL) has commissioned SJVN's 1 GW solar power project in Bikaner, Rajasthan, marking its largest solar project to date. All 2.4 million solar modules were manufactured at TP Solar's facility in Tamil Nadu, supporting India's 'Make in India' initiative. The project will supply power to utilities in Rajasthan (500 MW), Jammu and Kashmir (300 MW), and Uttarakhand (200 MW). It is expected to generate over 2.4 billion units of green electricity annually and offset significant carbon emissions.
