GAIL Gas and Indraprastha Gas Ltd (IGL) have announced price reductions for Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) and Piped Natural Gas (PNG). GAIL Gas cut prices by Rs 1 per kg for CNG and Rs 1 per SCM for PNG across its operational areas. IGL reduced domestic PNG prices by Rs 0.70 per SCM in Delhi and NCR. These reductions, effective January 1, follow the Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board's (PNGRB) rationalized pipeline tariff structure, aimed at making natural gas transportation more cost-effective.
