HDFC Bank to Include UPI ATM Withdrawals in Monthly Free Transaction Limits from April

HDFC Bank will include UPI-based cardless ATM cash withdrawals within the existing monthly free transaction limits starting April 1, 2026. Currently, savings and salary account holders get five free withdrawals at HDFC ATMs and three to five at other ATMs depending on the city. After exceeding these limits, a fee of Rs. 23 plus taxes per withdrawal will apply. The bank states this change aims to standardize and clarify its fee structure across transaction types.
