This figure represents an increase from the previous year, with flight cancellations impacting 112,000 passengers, a significant rise. Delays exceeding two hours affected 156,000 passengers, while denied boarding cases saw a substantial decrease. Airlines, including IndiGo and Air India group, reported the highest numbers of affected passengers, reflecting operational adjustments to comply with new duty time limitations and rest periods.
