Toyota Launches Urban Cruiser EV in India with Dual Battery Options and Up to 543 km Range

Toyota Kirloskar Motor has launched the Urban Cruiser EV, also known as the Urban Cruiser Ebella, marking its first mass-market electric SUV in India. Based on the Maruti Suzuki e Vitara platform, it features distinct Toyota styling, two battery options (49 kWh and 61 kWh) offering up to 543-550 km range, and a front-wheel-drive setup. The SUV includes modern interiors with dual screens, advanced safety features, and customer-centric programs like an eight-year battery warranty and Battery-as-a-Service. Prices are expected between Rs 15-25 lakh, with bookings open at Rs 25,000.
