Ola Electric has begun scaling up deliveries of its S1 Pro scooters equipped with its in-house manufactured 4680 Bharat Cell battery across Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Telangana, and Karnataka. This rollout signifies a broader commercialization of their proprietary battery technology, which the company claims offers increased range, performance, and safety. Ola Electric states this move makes them the first Indian company to fully own the cell and battery pack manufacturing process, aiming for a nationwide expansion.
