Tembo Global Industries' subsidiary, Tembo Classic Engineering, has received a defence manufacturing licence from the Government of Maharashtra. This development follows a prior MoU signed at the World Economic Forum 2025. The licence marks a significant step for the company's entry into India's defence manufacturing sector, aligning with 'Make in India' and 'Aatmanirbhar Bharat' initiatives. The company's stock saw a 5 per cent upper circuit following the announcement.
