OIL India Limited (OIL) has signed an agreement for a composite license to explore graphite and vanadium in the Phop block in Arunachal Pradesh's Keyi Panyor district. The Centre for Earth Sciences Himalayan Studies (CESHS) will partner with OIL, holding a 10% stake. Exploration is expected to take at least two years, followed by public hearings before any potential mining operations commence.
