Denmark's postal service, PostNord, is ceasing letter delivery on December 30, 2025, ending a 400-year tradition due to a more than 90% decline in mail usage. The company will now exclusively focus on its growing parcel delivery business, driven by e-commerce. This transition will result in approximately 1,500 job cuts. While traditional mail is phased out, PostNord will still handle letters and cards within parcel deliveries.
