Seventh Train Added to Bengaluru Yellow Line to Improve Metro Frequency

Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited will add a seventh train to the Yellow Line starting January 15, reducing peak-hour intervals from 13 to 10 minutes on weekdays and Saturdays, and from 15 to 14 minutes on Sundays. This upgrade aims to ease crowding, improve service reliability, and encourage public transport use amid rising ridership. The first and last train schedules will remain unchanged, with further service enhancements under consideration.
