February 2026 Auto Sales: Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai, Mahindra, and Kia Report Growth

In February 2026, Maruti Suzuki reported a 7.3% rise in total sales to approximately 214,000 units, driven by strong utility vehicle and export growth, though compact car sales declined. Hyundai Motor India achieved its highest-ever February sales at 66,134 units, with domestic sales up 9.8% and exports surging 24.8%. Mahindra posted an 18% increase in total vehicle sales to 97,177 units, led by a 19% rise in utility vehicle sales. Kia India recorded a 10.3% year-on-year sales growth to 27,610 units, marking its best February performance. Despite volume gains, Maruti Suzuki's market share remained below 40%, challenged by rising competition from Tata and Mahindra.
