An Akasa Air flight QP 1781 from Mumbai to Ahmedabad attempted to land twice at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport on Tuesday but aborted both attempts due to windy conditions causing an unstable approach. The pilot diverted the Boeing 737 Max 8 aircraft to Jaipur for refueling before returning to Ahmedabad, where it landed safely at 1:30 pm. The flight had originally departed Mumbai at 9 am and was scheduled to arrive in Ahmedabad at 10 am.
