IndiGo has revised pilot allowances following a significant operational crisis in early December 2025, which led to over 5,000 flight cancellations and stranded passengers. The crisis stemmed from a conflict between IndiGo's high-utilization model and new Flight Duty Time Limitation (FDTL) regulations, which mandate increased weekly rest periods and stricter night operation limits. These changes reduce available flying hours and strain the airline's operational capacity, particularly for red-eye flights. IndiGo shares saw a slight increase on Monday.
