
DMart's parent company, Avenue Supermarts, reported an 18.3% year-on-year increase in net profit for the December quarter, reaching Rs 855.8 crore. Revenue from operations grew 13.3% to Rs 18,100.88 crore. The company's profit after tax margin improved slightly. CEO-designate Anshul Asawa noted that revenue growth was partially impacted by deflation in staples. The board also approved Asawa's appointment as CEO and MD, effective April 1, 2026, succeeding Ignatius Navil Noronha.
