Vodafone Idea's shares rose approximately 4% following reports that its Adjusted Gross Revenue (AGR) dues could be significantly reduced, potentially by over 50%, after a Department of Telecommunications committee reassessment. The company has reportedly received a 10-year payment breather for its dues, with final payments due between FY36 and FY41. These developments, coupled with a recent Union Cabinet relief package, may also pave the way for the government's eventual exit from the debt-laden telecom operator, contingent on selling its stake at a profit.
