Uttar Pradesh Launches Seven Centres of Excellence to Support Startups

The Uttar Pradesh government, led by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, has launched seven Centres of Excellence under the 'Start in UP' policy, releasing ₹27.18 crore to support innovation, research, and employment. These centers focus on advanced sectors like blockchain, AI, 5G/6G telecom, medical electronics, additive manufacturing, and drone technology. Supported by institutions such as IIT Kanpur, IIT Roorkee, and IIM Lucknow, they provide startups with incubation, technical resources, mentorship, and industry connections to enhance global competitiveness and skill development.
