A final-year computer science student at IIT Hyderabad has received the institute's highest-ever job offer of Rs 2.5 crore from Optiver, a global trading firm. The student, Edward Nathan Varghese, secured the position as a software engineer after a successful summer internship. Optiver, which launched its India operations in 2024, reported a profit in its first full year and is expanding its team in India, aiming for 100 employees by the end of 2025.
