The Kallakurichi district administration has launched village startup communities in Sathanur and Naranampatti under the 'Gramam Thorum Puthozhil Scheme.' This initiative aims to foster rural innovation, empower youth, women, and persons with disabilities, and support early-stage entrepreneurs. The program seeks to connect rural startups with larger markets and mentorship, bridging the urban-rural divide. Selected beneficiaries will receive grants to accelerate prototype development and market access, with a goal of nurturing 100 startups across 100 villages in Tamil Nadu.
