Lodha Foundation Launches Lodha Theoretical Physics Institute to Boost Research in India
The Lodha Foundation has launched the Lodha Theoretical Physics Institute (LTPI) in Mumbai to advance fundamental research in theoretical physics in India. The institute aims to foster sustained inquiry through focused research programs, international conferences, and collaboration among leading scientists globally. LTPI, the first fully privately funded physics institute in India, will receive USD 100 million over 8-10 years, supporting India's goal to build world-class scientific infrastructure by 2047.
